Is chapter mein aap seekhenge:
Formula ek expression hai jo values, cell references, operators aur functions ka use karke calculation karta hai.
Excel formulas aam taur par equal sign (=) se start hote hain.
Examples:
=A1+B1
=A2*B2
=(A1+B1)/2
=SUM(A1:A10)
Agar A1 mein 10 aur B1 mein 20 hai, to formula =A1+B1 ka result 30 hoga.
Example:
=A1+B1
Function Excel ka built-in formula hai jo specific calculation karta hai.
Examples:
=SUM(A1:A5)
=AVERAGE(B1:B10)
=MAX(C1:C20)
Function ke main parts:
Example:
=SUM(A1:A5)
Yahan SUM function A1 se A5 tak numeric values ka total calculate karta hai.
Formula:
=A1+B1+C1
Function:
=SUM(A1:C1)
Dono same values ka total de sakte hain. Function bade ranges ke liye convenient hota hai.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Formula Bar mein formula =A1+B1 dikh sakta hai, jabki cell mein calculated result 30 dikhega.
Formula edit karne ke tarike:
| Operator | Kaam | Example | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| + | Addition | =10+5 | 15 |
| - | Subtraction | =10-5 | 5 |
| * | Multiplication | =10*5 | 50 |
| / | Division | =10/5 | 2 |
| ^ | Power | =2^3 | 8 |
| % | Percentage operator | =200*10% | 20 |
[!NOTE] Important:
Excel mein multiplication ke liye * aur division ke liye / use hota hai.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Comparison operators do values ko compare karte hain.
| Operator | Meaning | Example |
|---|---|---|
| = | Equal to | =A1=B1 |
| > | Greater than | =A1>B1 |
| < | Less than | =A1<B1 |
| >= | Greater than or equal to | =A1>=B1 |
| <= | Less than or equal to | =A1<=B1 |
| <> | Not equal to | =A1<>B1 |
Example:
A1 = 50
B1 = 40
Formula:
=A1>B1
Expected result: TRUE.
Formula:
=A1=B1
Expected result: FALSE.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Ampersand (&) ka use text ko join karne ke liye hota hai.
Example:
A1 = Aman
B1 = Sharma
Formula:
=A1&" "&B1
Expected result:
Aman Sharma
Yahan " " ek space add karta hai.
Ek aur example:
="Total Marks: "&C1
Agar C1 mein 85 hai, to result hoga:
Total Marks: 85
Formatting ke saath numbers ko text mein join karte waqt TEXT function useful hota hai; ise advanced functions mein detail se seekhenge.

Excel expressions ko precedence rules ke hisaab se calculate karta hai. Parentheses calculation order control karne mein help karte hain.
