What the Interviewer Expects to Hear:
Unlike VLOOKUP which requires a numeric column index count and only searches left-to-right, XLOOKUP takes separate lookup and return arrays. It defaults to exact match (no need for FALSE), supports searching from last to first (-1), can return entire rows/ranges, and includes a built-in `[if_not_found]` parameter.
